Pidgin is a chat program that allow you to log in to your account on different chat network simultaneously in one place all at the same time, this means that while you chat or using video call with your friend on yahoo chat, you can also chat with your friend on facebook chat then at the same time you can also connect to other your friend on other network chat gather in conference room with others. It simple and practical do not need several chat program opens to log in to different chat account, just need a few click to add your account and saved it on database.
Pidgin is compatible with the following chat networks out of the box: AIM, ICQ, Google Talk, Jabber/XMPP, MSN Messenger, Yahoo!, Bonjour, Gadu-Gadu, IRC, Novell GroupWise Messenger, QQ, Lotus Sametime, SILC, SIMPLE, MySpaceIM, and Zephyr. It can support many more with plugins. Pidgin also can runs on Windows, Linux, and other UNIX operating systems.
Pidgin supports many features of the various networks, such as file transfer (coming soon), away messages, typing notification, and MSN window closing notification. Pidgin also goes beyond that and provides many unique features.
